I would love to go. It will depend on the dates selected since I need to be around the first week of each month to do the month-end close. Also, I’m a single so I would need to share with someone.
Hi Kathleen. Registration does not open until this Saturday, August 23rd — that is why you received that message. Try again on Saturday and you should be fine.
Ruth, Monica I put you down! Expect an email tonight or tomorrow with more details and next steps! Its exciting! Valerie, definitely pray for that miracle – if God wants you to go the money will come together. Until then, do little things to begin saving up just in case (change, recycling, little jobs for friends, everything!)
Aaron Park, could you elaborate? I was not present at a service and was out of town.
Pam I just noticed my email is not working. Not sure if the email was already sent out if it was could I get it resent to me please. Thank you
Yes, you can still be baptized. There’s one more class before the baptism if you’d like to attend. It’s being held on Sunday July 13th at 9:00am in Room 302 which is located between the church office and the Hub.
The Church Baptism is being held after 2nd service on Saturday July 19th and Sunday July 20th.
Since you have already signed up to be baptized, you will receive an email several days prior to the Church Baptism with all of the details you need to know for baptism weekend (such as when to check-in). We hope you will attend the class as well.
Hope this info helps. Have a great weekend!
Thanks Denny. We had an additional person sign up for 9 am at the prayer meeting last night. I am fine with you keeping that time or choosing another – whatever you prefer. I also had someone sign up for Friday at 10 am and someone else for Friday at 7-9 pm!
What an awesome week!!!!! Thank you Bridgeway and Kidsway Girls for putting this together.
Looks like they really have fun. Thanks to all the volunteers who make this week happen for the kids!
Matt, thank you for following through on your thought to write to the father’s on Father’s Day! A good father is a key component in our children’s lives. What’s awesome is our Almighty Father is ALWAYS willing to lead and guide our father’s on this journey. The foundation of love, security and confidence this gives our children is priceless. Possibly some of the father’s didn’t have a role model or the one they had was a poor role model. I would encourage each of those father’s to press forward, move on and break the cycle! And, it’s never too late to engage as a father with your kids.
I never met my father – my husband didn’t have a father he wanted to use as his role model. This can present a terrific challenge in trying to do a good job at parenting. We are forever thankful for God’s unconditional love. Through lots of prayer, being led by the Holy Spirit (and time) we have confidence in each of our roles as parents. A pivotal moment for me was when I realized all I needed was my Heavenly Father! But, for all of our children that can have a good earthly father present in their lives, they won’t have to work through the emptiness of the fatherless children .
I am thankful for all of the father’s that embrace this role. Our children need you to love, guide and support them. I hope you had a wonderful Father’s Day!!
